subscriber express interest in Genealogy, so here is the Kentucky State Genealogy Web
Project site. I understand it is the model site for many other states' genealogy site
design.
- USGenWeb - Project Home Page - This is another
genealogical site, but as you might have guessed by the name, it is concerned with all of
the U.S. ( Not everyone was lucky enough to be born a Kentuckian!).
- The New York Times Learning Network -
This is an interesting site aimed at Student, Teachers and Parents of grades 6th thru
12th. There is also an online crossword puzzle from The New York Times.
- International Space Station : Man's next step...
This is the official site for the International Space Station. If the colonization of
other worlds is your thing, then this is a step in the right direction.
- CPANEO: Citizen's Protection Against NEOs : Have
you seen either of the movies - "Deep Impact" and/or "Armageddon"?
This is a link to an organization that is not depending on Bruce Willis to save the earth
from a killer asteroid. An Asteroid and/or Comet impact on the Earth WILL happen someday,

government related sites. It is time we all took a bit more interest in how our country is
run, voice our opinions so that our Senators and Representative can know the WILL of the
people they are supposed to be representing! Please remember, to be respectful when
writing to your congress people, for if you send a dirty or moronic letter to them, they
will simply cast it aside.

Labor Standards Act (FLSA) - U.S. Department of Labor site dealing with
the revision of the FLSA. There is a lot of confusion on who loses
overtime and who won't... this site can help shed some light on that. It
lays the regulations out for it and even has a PowerPoint presentation to
explain it!
- FactCheck.org - In the Vice
Presidential debate, Vice President Cheney made reference to this website,
though he accidentally gave the wrong address - Ooops! That slip of the
tongue aside, this is a good site to get a relatively unbiased summary of
current political issues, including campaign ads, bills, speeches and such.

: This is a good site to see how our State Senators and Representatives are
doing and what they are doing and contains info on both proposed Amendments
to the Kentucky State Constitution.
