SMTP Authentication setup for Outlook 2007

Open Outlook. Click on Tools and Select Account Settings

Select your account and click Change.

In the Account Properties dialog, click More Settings.

In the Internet E-mail Settings dialog, ensure that My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication is checked and Use the same settings as my incoming mail server is selected.

Click OK to close the Internet E-mail settings dialog, then click Next and Finish to close out of your account properties.
